Learn a Method You Can Use to Clear Away the Barriers To Your Success? This
movie features experts like Jack Canfield, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Joseph
Mercola. Bob Proctor of The Secret, Dr. Norm Sheely, and other experts in the
field of meridian energy techniques, also called EFT (Emotional Freedom
Technique), or tapping. This technique has been called emotional acupuncture.
Ten people who attended a 3 day group used tapping techniques to change
longstanding health, emotional, and habit problems with remarkable results. You
will learn to “tap” for your own issues while watching this film. Research at
Harvard University has shown that stimulating acupuncture points works by
calming down the amygdala, the part of the brain that controls the fight-flight
response. For a longer preview of this film, go to thetappingsolution.com/eft-tapping-film/
In this workshop, you will learn and practice using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known as tapping. This method is often called psychological acupuncture, or acupuncture without the needles. The individual taps lightly or applies mild pressure on the acupoints, while saying phrases that allow relief from unwanted thoughts and emotional responses. This leads to “aha moments” and clarity that allows them to release the underlying beliefs driving their problem. When one person volunteers to address an issue, other group members learn the process by tapping along with them. By keeping an issue of their own in mind, they often experience improvement for themselves. This happens so often it’s called “borrowed benefits.”
Typical Issues addressed in tapping circles:
food and other cravings; anxiety; sadness or grief; procrastination; pain; difficulty forgiving self or others
Includes 19 page tapping workbook

Specific techniques include breathing, mindfulness, progressive relaxation, hypnosis, self-hypnosis, visualization, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique, a method to shift energy), affirmations, and mental techniques to stop persistent thoughts and challenge erroneous beliefs. A workbook and a CD of guided hypnosis and mindfulness exercises is provided.
I began personally using these techniques in my twenties because of the stressful aspects of my career as a special education teacher, being a divorced single mother, and health conditions causing chronic pain. I taught Beginning and Advanced Stress Management to other teachers as part of In-service Training in the Escambia County Florida Public Schools.
I took courses in rehabilitation Counseling, including a course in graduate school in medical aspects of Rehabilitation Counseling. This course was taught at the Shands Teaching Hospital, University of Florida, and including all the body systems, including function and disorders that affect that system. Each system was taught by a medical school physician specializing in that area. I worked as a Rehabilitation Counselor for 2 years, including medical management. In addition to basic and advanced hypnosis certification, I have further hypnosis certification in Chronic Pain Hypnosis and Complementary Medical Hypnosis.
